Clinical Reference Group

The Clinical Reference Group support implementation of the audit by representing a number of interested organisations (including patients and stakeholder organisations), jointly providing audit governance through the professional oversight of the clinical direction. This group will act as a consultative group to the Project Team on clinical issues as well as issues related to methodology and audit implementation. Its specific role and responsibilities are to advise on the audit’s aims and objectives, enrolment of cancer networks and NHS trusts, recruitment of patients, appropriateness of the data collection instruments, the analysis and interpretation of the audit’s findings, and communication and publication strategy.
