NPCA Organisational Audit_response log

The NPCA Organisational Audit was initially conducted in 2014 with follow-up surveys in 2016, 2018 and 2019. The survey highlighted areas in the provision of important elements of service enabling a “levelling up” in areas where there was a shortfall. You can find the latest results displayed on our website here by navigating to your Trust (England) / Health Board (Wales).

We delayed our planned survey last year, as teams were dealing with the consequences of the first wave of the Covid-19 pandemic. After a turbulent year and a half, we are hoping that clinical life is somewhat more manageable for now, and that Clinical Leads will be able to provide an update for the key diagnostic, treatment and support services provided by each individual Trust or Health Board.

To capture the current arrangement of services we ask that the questionnaire is answered by all providers no later than Friday 27th August.

If you are the NPCA Clinical Lead for your Trust/Health Board:

Please follow the link to complete the online survey. It should take no more than 15 minutes to complete.

The topic areas covered are:

  • Diagnostic services
  • Treatment services (surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy – as relevant)
  • Support services (including provision of CNSs)
  • Allied services (availability of sexual function services, continence services, psychological counselling and genetic counselling)

Please consult with colleagues as needed to fill the survey out completely and accurately.

You can also download a PDF version of the questionnaire for reference or to share with colleagues.

Please only fill in the online survey. The PDF will allow you to see what information you might need to gather, in advance of opening the online survey, as some browsers may not allow you to save your progress and come back to it. Please bear in mind that the online survey will skip over questions that you indicate are not relevant to you.

Reminders will be sent to non-responders.

Update 20.09.21

Thank you to the 118/137 clinical leads who have completed the survey! A log of the providers who have engaged with the survey to date can be found here. We will update this log each week – check back for updates and to avoid duplication of responses.
